I love Wegmans. I'm not sure anyone can quite fully grasp its awesomeness unless you have visited. It's the best family-run grocery store chain in central New York. They've recently expanded further into Maryland, Virginia, and soon Massachusetts!
I've been stalking their "future" locations for years now, and I'm excited to announce that their flagship Massachusetts store will open in Westborough this fall! I already plan on camping out overnight (if need be) to be there for the grand opening. Hope I can get on the local news, and maybe even the CNY news! They are attempting to break into a grocery market in this state that is already saturated with Shaws, Stop&Shop, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and Roche Brothers.
I have such fond childhood memories of going grocery shopping at their "old" store with my mom, and getting a free cookie at the bakery, as all kids did. I'm pretty sure it was a clever tactic to help mothers quiet their children while shopping. It worked!
Now, as an adult, I'm secretly trying to figure out how to carve out a job for myself at Wegs. They've ranked quite high on Fortune's Top 100 Companies to Work For for several of the past years!

Mini Me
I love miniature items. If its small, I like it; and the smaller the better. I loved that Little People Big World Show on TLC, I like small baby shoes (especially Timberlands), and even 1lb bags of flour.
Along my travels for work,in hotels and restaurants, I've come across quite an array of single serving items. I "stole" a small Tabasco bottle that was no larger than my pinky finger, and in Jackson, Mississippi the hotel restaurant was kind enough to "let me borrow" these adorable, and real glass condiment ketchup and mustard set! CUTE!

I've now fully disclosed to my coworker, S, my wierd obesession with miniature items. We're headed to Vancouver and San Francisco later this month, so be on the lookout for future posts where I will share more loot from my trips!
